Steel plantHere’s my finished work from the MassArt class in steel sculpture. Turned out pretty cool. It will be going in our garden.

Everyone in the class got pretty good results. The finish of mine is ferric nitrate, applied after sandblasting. Typically, it was a race to the finish to get the piece finished byt the crit session. I didn’t have the finish applied yet, but did it the next day after the crit. Casey Riley took the prize for the coolest looking finish. Matt and Erik got great results too and we all learned a lot.

We did a lot of photos and video of the crit session. I’ll post those here when I get some editing time.
